Welcome to Care Fully Field Notes!

If you're here, you're probably caring for someone. It could be an older parent or loved one. You're probably doing most of it unpaid, unscripted, and in the margins of everything else in your life. This space is for you. And, it's for the people around you: the family, friends, colleagues, employers, and policymakers who want to understand what you're carrying.

Field Notes is the companion to the Care Fully newsletter. Where the newsletter stays close to caregiving, this blog follows the threads that lead back to care. This includes research I've come across, technology that caught my attention, policy that matters, and the quieter questions that don't fit neatly into a category.

CG360 and the Care Fully family started with my own experience. I spent years navigating my mother's illnesses and the healthcare system, wishing the whole time for an advisor, an extra set of hands, someone a few steps ahead on the same path. I didn't find that, so I built it using what I've learned and also the stories of the people I've met along the way.

My goal is to things a little more bearable for the next caregiver. We won't always have sunny days here. But I hope Field Notes becomes a steady, honest companion alongside the newsletter, a reminder that you are not alone.

Be well.

Erna
