Our Origin Story

Our founder, Erna spent 22 years caring for her Mother. Throughout this time, Erna learned about various chronic diseases, the healthcare system, and the "ins and outs" of insurance. Erna did not take a leave of absence during her caregiving journey, but after her Mother's death, she recognized a glaring need. Caregiving resources and support was hard to come by for individuals and companies. Resources for caring for older adults seemed even more difficult to locate.

 

Erna created CG360 to recognize caregivers and offer easily accessible resources and a listening ear. Also, she wanted to help employers understand the unique challenges of caregivers and the value caregivers bring. While Erna has a specific passion for supporting caregivers of older adults, she frequently collaborates with a network of caregiver subject matter experts. Together, their expertise includes: caregiving, addressing sandwich generation caregiving needs, working within healthcare, aging dynamics, and employee and customer experience strategy.
